What we do?

The K is for Knowledge method

1. Project analysis

At this stage, one of our sustainability experts, the ECO Manager, will contact you to better understand your advertising, film or TV project. After knowing your production needs, we will identify the most important environmental impacts that may arise in your project.

If you need to know how your company is doing in terms of its impact on the environment, we can help you. We offer you a diagnosis so that you know in which areas you are doing things well and in which you need to improve. We will analyze all your corporate processes so that they are as respectful as possible with the planet.

2. Sustainability plan

What it’s all about is setting goals and making sure everything is done in an environmentally friendly way. We advise you so that you can establish short, medium and long-term objectives, and we create an action plan with a schedule and established deadlines where we include all those involved in the project: the production company, department heads and also suppliers. It is important to review the actions to ensure that we meet the objectives set out in our sustainability strategy.

To understand it better, this sustainability plan will incorporate environmental criteria in relation to the use of energy, accommodation, travel, the transport of people, materials and waste, catering, the use of water and raw materials.

3. Carbon Footprint Report

With all the information collected, we calculate the carbon footprint and other

relevant data for the sustainability report. Also, we can compare

data with other similar projects to identify opportunities for improvement and

further reduce environmental impact. With this information, we can create

new action plans to continue caring for the planet in the future.

4. Certifications and Validations

Once the sustainability and carbon footprint report has been completed, we will have the option of having an external entity proceed with its validation and subsequent issuance of a certificate attesting that the data provided and the calculation methodology adequately correspond to a recognized standard and which therefore meet the criteria established in the sustainability strategy.

The certifications that we can currently find to validate our sustainability and carbon footprint report are: Green Film Certificate, GHG Protocol, ISO 14067, or we can opt for a compliance verification that would also certify that the data and calculation provided in the report and carbon footprint are correct.

The validation and certification process can only be carried out by an external entity that is registered with the ENAC. There are other types of seals and recognitions, but they do not meet the requirements requested by administrations such as the ICAA or national TV platforms such as Movistar Plus.

From K is for Knowledge, we advise you so that you meet the appropriate requirements and we will help you adapt the real needs to your project, accompanying you throughout the validation process to guarantee that you obtain the most appropriate certificate, and in compliance with the requested requirements by your client or administration in case of public aid.
